Many people still fondly remember the Thursday night shows at The Western when Alan Gillam first ran the Hotel. And now with Alan's return we're pleased to announce the start of a new weekly show featuring two of Cornwall's best known American Folk musicians. Guy Charles & Richard Plank will be inviting regular guests to join them most weeks, to join in their musical tour of Folk Blues, Old Time, early Country Music & Americana. So, whether you're local, or visiting for a few days, we hope you'll come along & enjoy the evening. Meet some friends, have a drink and listen to some good music. And stay at The Western if you've had too much fun to go home.

Not least because of the very fine beer brewed on the premises.
